I think that the recruiting efforts in Louisiana and Texas have been a waste.
If a kid has a Clemson connection, go for it, but I can't remember an impact player from that area coming to Clemson since James Trapp.
That is OK, Win the recruiting battles Florida to Maryland, and you get enough talent to be in the NC mix.

I doubt it but, for just a HS kid, he had some decent foot work and his hands. Maybe throught the changing of the guard at Texass, and the leaving of Johnny FB at a&m. Maybe we have about a 6% chance of getting Little down to Clemson for a visit. A 6% chance is better than a 5% chance

He's also a starter as a sophomore at Allen HS in Texas. They're the school that just built that $50 million dollar stadium I believe and I'm pretty sure they won a 4A or 5A state title recently. 6'6" 285 at 16 years old? Good lord, I'll take him in a heartbeat. And with a name like Greg Little? That's just awesome.

We have a reason to try to pull kids out of Texas. Building a pipeline is hard but if we had one to Texas like we do to Florida we could be fielding scary talented teams sooner.

Texas kid turning down Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Oklahoma st, Baylor, TCU, LSU, etc to come across the country to Clemson???
That's like a Georgia or Bama 5 star kid turning down Clemson, Bama, Georgia, Auburn, Tenn, LSU, Ole Miss, etc to go across country to Texas???
