I doubt it sway's recruits. Most all of the major schools in SEC and others have already gotten those or in the process. I'm sure Death Valleys new LED lights will do the same.

People get super stoked about these lights. You can only use them when ya score…

So you’ll only see them a couple minutes a game. They are “cool,” but really don’t do a whole lot for me.
Now if Clemson starts averaging 70 a game cuz the players have to see them neato lights…I’M ALL FOR IT!

Says rube is a country bumpkin. I guess I will be mesmerized. But since Clemson is a small town school, aren't we all a little bit country?

more so unsophisticated which would have been the case at the turn of the century, certainly it does not apply to all people who live in the country now.... except NC state fans, because no matter how many flashy lights they install, they will never be a premier football program with any kind of sustained success.

Not sure on that but I can still remember having to bring in temporary lights for night games.

I remember when they had those flood type metal lamps attached to the facade between the upper and lower decks in the early 80's before the stadium lights. They would turn them on during Tigerama. Didn't provide that much light. They looked like they had gone to Lowe's or picked them up in the hardware dept. at Kmart. LOL.

place turns green - it's pretty cool.
A FAR cry from the days when the stadium lights went out, they had to be turned off and then turned back on and it took them at least 15 minutes to "heat up" . . . . lol

I remember all stadium lights used to do that.... It seemed like you had to wait a year for them to come back on and "heat up". We had kids used to turn the breaker off at my little league field occasionally it was a much needed break for the heavier kids on the line like me lol
