I don’t know what you saw in my post that was bigoted - unless you claim that anything less than full-throated praise and glorification of the LGBTQIA+ “community” means prejudice and antagonism. Being intolerant, say.

You can look back and see the history where this “community” argued “please accept and tolerate us and stop hating us, beating us up, and killing us.” Great progress was made. Then they asked “please we deserve more than acceptance, like we are some lesser beings that you may tolerate, we demand to be treated as equals, as is our human right. Remove our condition from the DSM and quit acting like there is something wrong with us.” Great progress was made. Now we are at the next stage of “you can’t just act like we are equal, but you must embrace, endorse, and celebrate us. And if you don’t glorify us, and we are quite proud mind you, but if you won’t celebrate us like we celebrate ourselves, you are a bigot and you must be destroyed.”

It’s quite the arc. And some snowflakes need to understand that not everything about them will be celebrated by everyone. Like if you won’t accept pedophile drag queens reading to your kids, there must be something wrong with you. I have no ill will against them, seriously, but I will wisely keep my kids safe and not jump on the rah-rah train. True, there have been perverts throughout history and the aristocratic elite has always had a particularly strong interest in children. Recently, it’s the argument that 8-year olds can make mature life-altering decisions regarding their sexuality and transgenderism. And if 8 year olds can make mature decisions about that, well they should be able to make other decisions about their bodies and sex. With “progressives” it’s always progress in one direction- away from Judeo-Christian morals and principles. And people can have valid disagreements with their erosion of Western culture and values. And some people immediately have the knee-jerk response of yelling “bigot.” Whatever. Like the term “racist” thrown around by the Left, all it means now is “I don’t like what you said, and you should be destroyed.”

If your offense was at using term “pervert” all I did was call a spade a spade. If it’s because I’m not all about glorifying them, that’s your problem not mine.

What makes you think God has a problem with people being gay? Over 11 million people in the US alone identify as LGB. That's just the number in the US, and that's just the number of people who identify that way. Does God not shape people in his image? Which do you believe, that God is so against gays, yet millions of people turn out that way, or that God really cares more about the character of a person, and what's in their hearts? I'd argue that shaping your values based on a book written thousands of years ago that has had new versions come out over the years is just as much of a mental illness as anything.
