Lets Not Forget...

About another unspoken hero here, Chandler Catanzaro. . This kid was money all year long for us hitting 18/19 on the season. His lone miss was a 49 yarder and his longest was from 50 yards. He's done nothing but gotten better every year. Proud of this kid how he handled the pressure. Jad Dean kicks that ball into the LSU sideline.

Throw in the called time outs, and the thought that 1 more was available ( I believe there was 1 left) to get in his head makes the accomplishment even more profound. Hats off to him and to the snapper, too. They did great!

That was one of the first times in Clemson history where I *knew* from the bottom of my heart that our kicker was going to win the game.

He grew up. He was tried by fire in the Auburn game two years ago. He's battle-hardened, pressure doesn't affect him anymore. He's, by far, the best Clemson kicker I've ever seen (my earliest memories only go back to the mid 90's, so apologies to some of the better Clemson kickers from the 80's).

Chris Gardocki (sp?) ....he was my favorite growing up and has a nice career in the NFL.
