Alabama would wipe the floor with FSU without Travis. These are the BEST two games. Can't really argue that.

However, committee just lost all credibility in my eyes. Actually winning games MUST take precedence. Period.

The committee just showed us it's all about matchups, not who deserves it the most. That is an incredibly slippery slope.

With a straight face you would pick FSU over Bama with Rhodemaker.

But to your point we can't engage in hypotheticals. I would have put FSU at 4 purely based on performance and record. Anything else is an incredibly slippery slope.

All I'm saying is I understand why the committee did it. Better matchup and potentially more competitive which increases viewership.

Am I surprised? No. Am I disheartened that this was the priority over most deserving? Absolutely.
