I was thinking of the 2009 ACCCG vs GA Tech and remembered that neither (I think) team punted.
Maybe Dabo is thinking that this year we don't need a punter(?). He definitely has more eyes on that position than I do. Along with a team of coaches keeping him updated.
I have my opinions, but let Dabo by a GM and more importantly, the head coach. He's done a great job so far -- in my opinion.

who knows.
It was a game that "flipping the field" didn't really come into play. Each offense seemed to drive to the middle of the field and stall. It was too close to punt and too far to kick field goal.
But what a game Spiller had!

A good FB team will always need a good punter even if he is never used. That is a necessary part of special teams, and special teams can win a team a lot of FB games!!!

Definitely tired of having a punter who can pin inside the 20
All punters under Dabo have seemed to be pretty average except for a couple or few.

It is reckless and just plain dumb to go into the season knowing you don’t have a punter , Again folks we were dead last in ACC in punting last year ! DEAD LAST!! To keep 3 or more punters on team taking up spots even though they can’t punt at this level is just a terrible business decision. 2 of our biggest weaknesses were on special teams last year with punting and field goal protection and yet we are headed into another season without a real special teams coach or having addressed the punter problem . Don’t know about you , but I would probably be fired from my job if I was refusing to correct issues like this .

Dabo doesn’t care what I think, but special teams has been hit or miss since he’s been HC. It’s cost us games. Not having a solid punter is risky especially when you are playing against top level teams. It won’t cost us against a scrub but it very well could against better teams. Field position is very important in those games.
