I look at it this way.

1. It stinks to lose (it always does).
2. We lost to what I believe will be an NCAA Tournament team (quality loss, hopefully quad 1).
3. We played hard and gained valuable experience (especially important with so many new guys).
As cool as it would be to say that we are still undefeated, I think it helps our team more to play a game like this (even though we lost) than to play SC State and win by 30.

Moo, we hung with them but it was a good time to play them imo. They have some really good experienced guards and we needed this early season for our guards. They got exposed and that's actually a good thing because that's what they'll see in league play. Sux to lose always. But I'd rather play tough teams early and get beat than to play cupcakes and be 11-0 , then not be ready for a tough conference play. The acc is loaded with young talent this year.

Boy do I (and others) get tired of reading the invective leveled at one and all who fall short of YOUR expectations. Almost everyone predicted an uneven start to the season for Clemson BB and, to date, the team has EXCEEDED those predictions, even with the Saturday loss, during their first away game and against a quality opponent. I know the cultural norm is to lob accusations and criticisms and ignore process, but TNet posters have captured and institutionalized fan dysfunction. And to the detriment of our teams and programs. Shame!

Meh. Basketball has always been filler between football and baseball. At least ever since Maravich went to NC State. That isn't to say it could be something bigger I just don't waste much energy on whether we change coaches or not.

Just out of curiosity if Clemson Baseball lost a game on the road in its first 4 or 5 games, it would be it is just one game of a long season.

Problem is the long season turns into a disaster by the postseason tourneys. How that dude keeps getting extensions losing to Group of 5 schools is beyond me.

Big East considered a Power League in basketball. They have 4 of the last 10 or so National Championships.
