who truly feel that way about him. One of the two or three dirtiest programs in history - FSU in the '90's....no different than OU in the 70's and 80's. Switzer was hard to defend because of his lifestyle. Bowden sold his beliefs as a way to put a fence around his shady program. The exact reason why i despise FSU to this day. I grit my teeth anytime a Tiger fan pulls for them under any circumstances.

I have seen this comparison use today by some and it is an insult to Bobby Bowden. He built one of the great college programs in modern history. Legget inherited an elite program and has managed its decline.

I agree. Bowden to a loser, reinvented the game and won 2 Natties. Jack took over a top 5 program an hasn't even won the conference in 8 years.
