I think he done lost his mind. He also said he is hearing ND and aTm to the B1G is very likely. Personally, I would love aTm and getting into Texas. But, for the future, the B1G also needs in the state of Florida. Gotta be FSU.

You don't have to have any inside information to make that statement.

It's couched in the words of some sort of insider information leading to a prediction based on that insider information.

It would be like me saying, "My sources tell me when gasoline reaches 5 dollars a gallon, and it will, grocery prices will be significantly higher than they are today."

on his health since he entered hospice. I'm still hopeful of some type of football only league and keep the conferences intact for other sports. I'm fine playing in the "SEC" or "B1G" in football but the other sports don't make sense and would rather maintain the opponents we have.

Looking back The ACC and the 8 Big 12 leftovers should have merged after the Texas and OU announcement and left the Group of 5 call ups (UCF, Cincy, Houston and Stanford) in the Group of 5 and we would have all been better off. That ship has sailed.

It wouldn't have worked. The only reason fir any of this conference expansion is to make more money, and that merger epuld not accomplish that.
