So is VA Tech a basketball school now?

Mar 12, 2022, 10:43 PM

Or are they still a football school where basketball is an afterthought and technically mediocre play would be tolerated?
I can’t recall if Williams left for a better opportunity or if he was let go and they brought Young in?

No…..moonshine……and their culinary school’s library of raccoon and o’possum recipes is unrivaled.

Is Georgia Tech a basketball school since they won last year? Really?

GA Tech has always been a basketball school. They’ve had really good years, just not lately.
Maybe instead of a “really” answer, give me a little more insight

Buzz left for A&M. He was from Texas. Then thry hired just as good of a coach. Gee, what an interesting idea.

One OP even kept saying that Mike Young wasn't going to make it at VT. These are all his players there. Lol

The irony of this post is Buzz Williams is playing for a conf title later on...

Perhaps Buzz did leave for a better opportunity...

No, rather you are seeing the end of an era. First it was Roy, now Coach K. Soon schools like Va. Tech will be able to at least be competitive with the schools on Tobacco Road. Meanwhile, Clemson, will continue driving down the wrong road trying to reach the level of success Va. Tech had this season.

A football school? They haven't been a football school in a long time.
