Yes that would be correct. There has only been a handful at most games at Lane Stadium with ranked teams. The stat however does not matter because Fuente has only been the coach since last year. This is a totally different time because there is an actual offense to go with our defense. Will be a heck of a game saturday night and past records mean didly squat when this game kicks off.

not average. The stadium over Beamer's last 4 years was not that good because the home schedule was average at best and every home game was a day game. The night games are really crazy and it now seems the schedule is starting to get better gametime wise. its far from average though. not many average stadiums read on the richter scales. Just like when I went to the game at Clemson 5 years ago I thought the stadium was average noise wise, but it doesnt mean that it is.

A 21 pt win at home won't get our fans too fired up. That was a scrimmage for us.

The game was close the whole game until the end of the 3rd into the 4th. Thats not that big of a point spread to not be making noise.

okay. just like prior to the recent Clemson victories over Tech, VT had one multiple in a row against clemson as well. The last 10 games the record is 5-5. Dont make it out as if this is a dominated series by clemson

On this we do agree. That said, I think the streak continues. Our quality depth will be a huge factor by the game's end. Still, the game will be played, and we will know for certain in a few days. Don't be surprised when the Tigers open up a can on your team, though.

I've always heard good things about the environment. Should be fun.
As for comparing noise levels at stadiums...don't bother. It all depends on where you are sitting. I know that many sections in our stadium seem really quiet while the noise at field level is deafening. Other than decibel readings at field level everything else is subjective.

and came away unimpressed with the atmosphere compared to the hype. Most of the fans were nice with one or two exceptions, but there are bad fans at every school. The campus is stunning. The key shaking thing, however is dumb.

i agree its kind of a lame tradition, but it is supposed to symbolize a key play. usually a 3rd down play.
