But I also don’t have my blinders on. We are all human and his temptations are greater than I’ll ever face. I hope he’s innocent and hope the evidence is overwhelmingly clear bc I also worry that if he’s innocent but it’s not obvious that his reputation will be tarnished anyways. I’m not sure anyone doesn’t support him. But that doesn’t mean people aren’t worried it may be true. I will still support him and pray for him even if he’s guilty. But again first I hope it’s all bs.

I'm equally confident that the accusers in this case are prostitutes, or at least Deshaun had good reason to believe they were, and he went there to avail himself of their services. I don't know if it was a setup from the get-go, or they put this together after the fact, but it's clearly a money-grab. This is all pure speculation on my part, of course, but just putting 2 and 2 together. I will continue to support Deshaun along these lines until I find out otherwise.

But I bet he paid them for more than a massage. So much better than assault but at the same time I’m sure that’s not the look he wants out there. Hope he learns from it. Hate to be that way but everyone he comes across wants some of his money and he needs to look at it that way. I get that’s jaded but pretty darned close to true.

Of course - they are prostitutes. I'm sure they have some kind of evidence that he hooked up with them, shuch as text messages, credit card transaction, etc., or else there would be no law suit. That being the case, why would somebody see 20+ massage therapists over a short span of time? Not for massages, that's for sure; if he were, he wouldn't be contacting them through craig's list, he'd have some one he knows, somebody from the Texans or a personal assistant set up something with a legitimate, reputable therapist. Not 20 women off of Craig's list. It's probably poor judgement on his part, for sure, but I'm sure he's not the only NFL player doing it. That's just my crazy theory - I could be way off.

Pretty ironic you say one side waits for all the facts to come out, and then you turn around and group everyone into two categories. That's the problem with both sides in this country, everyone just wants to throw the other side into a "that side does this thing every single time" basket.
It's obvious that people on both sides tend to jump to conclusions and believe what they want to believe based on their opinion on the person or topic beforehand.
Both conservatives and liberals are most likely to believe someone in Watson's position or wait to see all the facts if they had a high opinion of Watson before this.
Both conservatives and liberals are most likely to believe Watson might be guilty of these actions if they didn't have a high opinion o him, or were perhaps fans of a rival team before all of this.
Basically, let's just say that at least 80% of the members on this site either believe Watson is innocent, or are taking a wait and see approach. Do we honestly believe that 80% of the members on this site would feel the same if the player being accused was a former Gamecock player, or player from Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia, or LSU?

But you seem perfectly willing to "pile on" a group of women that you have no idea are lying to telling the truth. You seem perfectly willing to advance a narrative so outrageous that anyone with an IQ higher than that of a carrot could see through (the Texans are doing this to destroy his value to the team and trade value).
There are several things here that can simultaneously be true:
DW was a great college QB and is a great pro.
Despite what is often advanced here, association with Clemson doesn't actually mean players and coaches walk on water.
DW may have a proclivity for hookers (which probably destroys your image of what a Clemson player is).
Someone found out about his proclivity for hookers and decided to cash in on it.
Stop taking it so personally. DW doesn't know you and you don't know him. If fact, outside you whatever you might spend to advance his career, it's pretty safe to say he wouldn't want anything to do with you.

A majority of folks here aren’t able to consider the fact that Deshaun might’ve wanted more than a massage. They can’t possibly imagine that a superstar QB from Clemson could do something like that.
Instead, it’s a huge conspiracy by this attorney or the Texans or some other clandestine group who doesn’t like Deshaun or doesn’t want him to succeed. You know, sort of like how it’s a conspiracy to create a viral pandemic or rig the election against Trump.

I’m confident i probably have about 25% of the actual story, therefore unlike others who believe everything they read or hear from a corrupt and or agenda driven media, I’ll just sit back and watch it unfold.
Having said that, things like this is why I don’t get caught up in drooling over athletes or any other so-called high profile public figures. Many of them are not folks you would want to spend time with and we probably wouldn’t like seeing what they are really like. I just need you throw /run/ block/ or tackle really well as a Tiger and then the rest is on you. And is also why I don’t need an athletes advice on political or moral issues.

I'm not sure what Deshaun did, if anything. But I am of the age that when you went a little too far with a gal you probably got slapped and you stopped. That was the end of it. If he did something or asked for something that was beyond what he was supposed to a firm "NO" should have been the end of it. Until I hear of something more than hearsay or hear real evidence I'm standing behind Deshaun.
