Kirby Smart needs to be held accountable for his actions

I know he doesn’t know what that means

And the University of Georgia doesn’t know what that means

But the SEC needs to step in and fine him and suspend him

That behavior has no place in college football, and I’d say the same thing about Dabo Swinney if he did it.

Totally unacceptable and now it’s 100% clear why UGA has off the field issues

Shoved is a kind description. More like forearm shiver

That should be at the very least a hefty fine. Inexcusable.

Here is the thing, had he “inadvertently” shoved an official that way he would have been ejected immediately. Probably the only thing the saved him was the player stayed on his feet. Regardless he should have at least been an unsportsmanlike penalty and probably more than that.

Alas uga nor the SEC will do anything. Maybe a “heartfelt” apology will be offered, maybe not.

His comment on it after the game, "I don't really remember it."

That's probably all we'll see out of that

He went up to player, pushed him a little & then continued

To forcefully push him farther for several feet as a player in practice would do with an old lineman’s sled.

Saying, he was on the borderline of being violent.

And, a coach should NEVER touch or reprimand another team’s player especially touching or shoving him!!

Exactly what I was saying. Had he forearmed a ref he would have been flagged or ejected. Had he forearmed one of his own players he would be getting roasted with an internal university investigation. Had he forearmed one of his own coaches he would be getting roasted in the local media. But somehow an opposing player gets no protection or respect? I would expect Miss St to pursue punishment through the SEC.

The inexcusable fault lies with the SEC network play by play guy Taylor Zarzour who completely went see no evil on it. Rick Barnes would have whooped Coach Bowlcuts behind with a 2x4.

I’m disappointed in the officials. They usually follow players when they go out of bounds on their opponent’s sideline.

I don’t expect anything from UGA, Kirby Smart, or the University of Georgia. That’s just the world we live in and typing this reply is all the time I’ll put into the incident.

Greg Sankey always appears to be the man with power and he’s trying to rewrite college football as his great legacy. He does not have the integrity to find Kirby Smart and he should. Kirby should be fine $1 million and told to sit for a game and let that million dollars go to some North Georgia community that was devastated by Helen

Maybe we can get an SEC Shorts snippet with Kirby hitting a player over the head with some rebar and the announcers saying “wow Kirby’s visor fell off”.
