Jeff Bostic. Must of been of youngsters putting this list together. If you are going to put MD Perry #2, a case could be made for Jim Stuckey.

I think for the most part, that is a good list. However, I would put Charlie Waters and Jeff Bostic on it. Waters was an All Pro and according to Wikipedia, Bostic was named one of the 70 greatest Redskins of all time.
I might bump Terry Allen (short career b/c of knee) and William Perry (great player, but greater media sensation) for those two guys.

in the NFL. You could make a better list of NFL players from Miami's 2001 roster alone than the entire history of our program.

Bowden started getting us out of it, and now Dabo has pretty much gotten us out. I suspect you'll see a few of the more recent Clemson players on that list soon.

Should be titled "Since 1980". Charlie Waters would be a great choice, as would be Fred Cone who is merely in the Packers Hall of Fame (I think). What about Jerry Butler?
Hard to argue with any of these though.

He was likely the best player on his Clemson D, but I don't remember him being a man child that was talked about by NCAA fans from coast to coast.
I think that NFL fans talked about Dawkins from coast to coast.

MD Perry was AFC Defensive Player of the Year one year

and made a bunch of Pro Bowls too...hard to not put him second on this list behind Dawk, who had the best NFL career of any Tiger to date. Jeff Bryant, to me, remains the most underrated Tiger great of all time. 4 year starter at Clemson, played every DL position, lived in the backfield, saved the NC season with the lateral recovery and merely played 12 years as a starter for Seattle. Jeff Bostic and Charlie Waters should definitely be on this list....Dexter McLeon had a good NFL career as well. Butler and Kinard had injury shortened NFL careers. Terry Allen was a heck of an NFL back when healthy too. This list will get a lot tougher to fill in years to come with what Dabo is running through the program talentwise. Dawk was a heck of a player on some lean Clemson teams. He would knock your head off and got bigger and stronger in the NFL. He's a first ballot HOF as far as I'm concerned.

Also,
while Dawkins might be the greatest NFL player from
Clemson. As crazy as this might seem, he probably wasn't
the best DB ever at Clemson. Or safety for that matter.
Great, great career..but didn't really develop under
Tommy West, IMO.
