She got blindsided by a fan storming the court and even had a classy response saying it comes with the territory.

I would not call it blind sided. The other person came almost head on. Clark flopped worse than a Duke basketball player.

If you want to get really technical, it was a part pirouette, then a flop.

Stop watching the replay on slow motion. Look at it as it happened. It is unfortunate and glad everyone is ok.

That was a fact. It comes with the territory. But she did a Lebron worthy flop and then acted like a baby in the interview

If anything the fan was blindsided. Both were running in opposite directions, she clearly saw it coming and put her arms up to absorb the contact. The fan does nothing to avoid the contact--never saw her coming.

I hope Tiger Contractor has plenty of jobs lined up for men because he will not get any for women. Unless you are an Iowa State fan why in the world would you take a shot and the best women's basketball player we have ever seen?

Of course then it would probably be a hate crime and millions would protest in the street. So I guess I don't. Hopefully, Kaitlyn is ok and she keeps the lady ##### away from the trophy again this year.

Don’t understand or appreciate how some people respond to Dawn Staley on this site. One time we are asking for prayer, and next pretty hateful messages for her and others. Please is it because she works at USC or because she is a national champion or an Olympic champion or is it something else?

In the close up video, you can see her unnecessarily extend her arms to make full contact. Then she flopped like Vlade Divac and tried to play victim for the cameras.

I love watching her play, but she did not get blindsided, she ran into the dude. If she had been paying attention, she would have easily missed him. Pretty much a flop as others have mentioned.

she ran straight into the other woman from a totally frontal angle (I mean that Clark was facing the other woman, not that she ran into the front of the other woman).
But I think it's fair to say that the other woman crossed her path and could have taken a more careful angle. But neither of them were paying great attention. Totally avoidable by both.

I wouldn't go so far as to say drama queen, but indeed her coach
Jan 22, 2024, 11:22 AM

- (the HC of Ohio St.) made it sound like she was the victim of someone else's rowdy behavior or violence, when really it was two people who both had a decent enough vantage to see each other had they been paying attention, and yet each kept going forward. Clark wasn't exactly blindsided like she said (Clark was head-on when running into her), although the woman could have been more careful about her path. It didn't help that both women were running in a crowded area. It was a dumb accident, but an accident nonetheless. The Head Coach lumping it in with the verbal abuse that was apparently hurled at Clark was unjustified.

whether you like post game court celebrations or not, one was happening, and both women knew that. Who was "at fault" depends on factors entirely outside of some fake notion of one belonging there and one not. Was there a game going on? No. Was Clark "in the game" as a player or on the bench in reserve? No.

Are we all watching the same thing ? The basketball player blindsided

a woman …… the player ran right into the side of the lady - going in face-first.
How is that on the lady ?
The player takes harder hits on blocks and charges - from world-class athletes.
And her running into this smaller, chunky / wearing heavy coat, gear - caused her to be helped off the floor, acting like she was about to die ?
That’s 100% drama queen / watch me create a reason to have them stop fans from coming onto the court.

To her defense, the girl that hit her looked to be on the hefty side, but she did do alil spinaroony after words to grab some attention. Idk why the players would take off running into the crowd anyway. Its like playing chicken with a stampede of cattle coming at you.

SHE did not make a big deal about it, the coaches did, and the Ohio State AD and Coaches apologized and everyone is fine with it...
She scored a mere 45 points and sold out another away arena ...
Why tear her down... She's been awesome ...
