Depending on which Cade shows up, we could very well win out and be in the championship game likely vs Miami.

Sure. There is also regress back to 8-4. In my opinion one game doesn’t tell me the problems were solved. I believe they’ll continue to improve and Saturday was a great sign but I think reality is we still have work to do to get over the offensive problems.

I think we should pump the brakes a little and here's why: against Jawja, we didn't have our best players on the field (WR's) and we called a plain vanilla offense. And I can't get overly excited about beating the brakes off of App State because, well, they're App State.
Let's wait a few games and then we can make our ACCG predictions.

However, in the past our Tigers have slept walked through games like last Saturday.

What did you want to see? A nail bitter. We haven't seen the Offense look like this in several years so yes i got a little overly excited and renewed hope for this season.

that was an A+ offensive game. Everything went well. We certainly will have more bumps in the road as the season goes on. We can't expect a perfect well oiled machine from here on out

If we put a whooping on The pack that's equivalent to the one they received from the Vols , it's entirely possible.

Doesn’t matter how good they play against state a good bit of this board just hates the players we have now especially Cade so everything they do will be discredited. They’ll wait for a mistake and pounce on it to say “I told you so”. We literally turned into a fan base that enjoys a loss more than a win.

I saw a lot of positive things from Saturday's game that I had previously questioned whether or not we even had in us. I certainly wouldn't declare victory this early in the season, but I am encouraged that we now have something to build on that could turn into something special.

It may also depend on which DJ shows up. We’ve seen both of them.

Through 2 games of season, the possibility of either a 8-4 kinda season or a 11-1 and ACCCG appearance are both equally achievable.
Starting the season against such a powerhouse is just not a good indicator....the defense was stellar for 30 minutes, gave our team a chance to win. That 2nd half was dreadful, but at least we had 30 minutes of fight and made them go into halftime with some questions.
App State was also not indicative of what our team is either. Especially considering we obliterated them quickly, just like we needed to, and they were beat pretty much from the opening kickoff.
So yes, ACCCG is very much in the picture...but NCSU will be a game in which much will be learned about Clemson football.
