I’ve been making some of those exact same points for several years now.
It is 1000% preventable. That’s what’s really crushing here. We have the money, but somehow we feel we have it figured out…while all the other P5 teams are wrong here. What people don’t realize is by doing it the way we’re doing it we have no margin for error……NONE. Injuries, guys we miss on, guys that transfer, guys who just don’t pan out…… We are extra vulnerable compared to other peer programs. For zero reason whatsoever
IF you aren’t going to use the portal at all…… You better kill it in high school recruiting instead of playing the game with one hand tied behind your back. Lose/ Lose
We don’t have the talented depth needed. And Dabo is right, the coaching last night wasn’t great; but this is more about lack of talented depth and roster mismanagement
Josh says something very interesting that came to mind while I was reflecting on this game. In moments like these clarity can be the best thing to get your course corrected. Nothing destroys culture more than losing to programs that have no business competing with you and/or consistently under performing against your peers.

I didn't like Saturday night. I was patient to believe it was going to be a grinder that we could win by 10. Louisville just continued to believe and their coaches and their players... just wanted it more than we did...in our own stadium. Now as I say that.....this coaching staff has got to know that there are teams out there who are going to relentlessly give Clemson their best shots all game long. Especially when its going to be teams that hadn't had much success against Clemson.
We've developed a reputation that we had to... because that is part of being consistent champions. This is our life...and Clemson has to perform and compete to keep what we have.... what we've built relevant.

College football is, where it’s going, why, when & how..
And that blow by blow was earnest, crushing but sincere and eye-opening.
He came within seconds of saying Dabo is the new Saban (gone) But at least Nick tried the portal and held his own with it even though he disliked it.
Yes, Dabo has some soul searching to do in off season.
Stay tuned Tiger Fans..and remember we are Clemson grads & fans while he is a hired hand and servant and can be encouraged to change or leave.

I feel weirdly attached to the old school way, knowing the change could benefit. I absolutely hate what college football has become in a mere 3 to 4 years. Maybe just 2 honestly
Not sure the full stories will ever be told about today's player payment and how it ###### up the game... Maybe 30 for 30 will still fill their niche in 10 years to show how bad the system ###### itself in a years time.
I'm mad but not 10 years ago mad. Even 5 years ago. Just ain't the same
