This is the best explanation of the future of college FB under revenue sharing that I have heard. Listen to entire podcast as it really explains future of NIL and CFB at end.

Well worth the time to listen.

I listened to the last few minutes. Many of us have been saying that same stuff about the markets and how that will change things. Southern Cal is going to be huge again.

You said a while back that I dismiss everyone who post videos on YouTube as hacks; not everyone just the no names. Klatt has bona fides so I'll listen to his opinion

I listen to many. Not all, but even a blind squirrel finds a sun flower seed under my bird feeder every now and then.

He may be on point about a lot of what he said, but I'm skeptical of his take that NILs (boosters) will now be operating, outside of the revenue sharing, more of on a strict endorsement/advertisement basis. I will believe that when I see it. I think they will still buy players to some extent. Also, and I'm cynical, keep in mind Klatt works for one of the biggest drivers in all this money controlled college football world we are in. That being Fox.

He made several valid points and is correct about the future of CFB. IT will never return to the days of yore.

His main point is that the NCAA and CFB MUST find a way to exist with no law suits that they cannot win. And he defines the way pretty well. Supposedly, everyone now will be able to see which players are being paid and how much.

He agrees that most of the teams who now dominate CFB will continue to dominate.

Of course the big boys will still buy talent -- a level playing field will never be a reality. Klatt is straight up delusional if he honestly thinks otherwise.

Clemson could be an elite player in this environment....

He provides a lot of meaningful insight and information I was not familiar with, although he’s far too optimistic for my take. He’s trying to gloss over the fact that the future of college football is going to be the halves and the halves-nots with NIL $$$’s having the final say as to which teams get the best players.

That’s why I believe a draft may be inevitable if you want to spread the talent. They won’t allow the same teams all the time. Sports need parity.

You hit on a very important point.

Sports need parity.

Look at leagues / conferences / sports that have parity. They are valuable.

Look at sports that don’t have so much parity. They have less value and likely have some degree of disorganization / a less stable future.

The NFL is knocking it out of the park.
