As an example of how times were back then, I was pulled out of the registration and taken to the office. It scared me. But, the head guy wanted to tell me in private that I had been assigned a black guy as a roommate. He wanted to know if I had any problem with that.

yeah, they moved it back to the citadel in 2000-
No A/C here either. But it was fun for a week, other than the heat.

think is what they were called. Citadel upper classmen with buawna hats and shades acting like real bada$$es.
We won the basketball championship. Jonathan Brooks was in my city, my old bud from Saluda and Tiger DE in the late 70s. I think two other guys from my city went to CU.
