Joe21...I aksed Joe21 a question once.

Nov 5, 2021, 11:01 AM

Joe was maybe 92 or so at the time, maybe about the time his wife started losing her memory right before he took her to an old folks home. Anyway, I sent him a private message and asked him if he ever got scared of dying. I kind of feel bad about such a blunt question, but I had just lost my Dad around the same time so I asked. Anyway, Joe said, "That's a pretty interesting question. To be honest, I don't think about it." He went on to say a couple of other things, because he knew people that weren't so lucky to live so song. People that died young...veterans and what not. Do you think he really never did? Is that maybe one of the secrets to living long, not worrying? He also said he thought avoiding booze other than occasional glass of wine was a key. Anyway, I found it interesting.

I can honestly say that I am not afraid of dying, I've never known of anyone getting out of this life alive, and I understand that we start dying the very second that we're conceived, there just isn't a way of making it out alive.

I think of myself as being a caring person that actually cares about others and their feelings. It hurts me to see or know that others aren't having as good of a life that I've had even though I don't have much, but I'm happy with what I have. In other words I actually care about people, and I don't want to see anybody suffering. Plus;

I most certainly believe in God, and I believe that my destination after life is eternity in the kingdom of Heaven with my lord and savior. I'm absolutely not afraid of death, and I never waste a minute thinking about death or dying bc we don't know when it's coming unless we allow our lives to become so stressful, that we end our own life, and I love living to much to become that stupid!!!

Death is an absolute part of living.

Death is undefeated, unless the God Man had anything to do with it.

Some people live to 18 and some live to 99.
