Alabama transfer, Peter Woods’ high school teammate, etc.
I must say if we manage to land him, we’re going to be looking at a Vic Beasley type of player.
His final 4 apparently are Clemson, Oklahoma, Auburn, and Ole Miss
If Kirby Smart isn’t in the running, Dabo Swinney must be appealing.
And I am curious about the money situation.

This makes me think that perhaps Reed is the next DC, this visit would probably be pushed back if our DC was not already in place (wild speculation)

We have half a hundred coaches and recruiting staff on campus so the lack of a DC to recruit someone we already recruited out of HS should make zero difference. Dabo will assert himself and be the focal point.

I don't think money should be an issue at all. He's been absolutely non-impactful at the college level and has zero monetary leverage here...His payment should be a 2nd opportunity to come to Clemson...Swinney doesn't afford many players that opportunity

Vic Beasley for a guy who has barely seen the field in 2 yrs at Bama?? I'm as optimistic as anybody but if we can get good, solid production out of him, then it's a win!

Probably better if we all cool our jets dreaming that Jeremiah Alexander is the second coming of Vic Beasley.
That said, he might just do well in a combo LB / DE role.

There's some big competition for him with Auburn and Ole Miss also in the hunt. Despite the lack of major production to this point, he provides a player that can instantly impact the defense with speed and power.
