Jeff Scott

Nov 6, 2022, 6:17 PM

Wonder if Dabo will see if Jeff Scott wants to come home? Hopefully Dabo sees the opportunity to make the offense better and get an exceptional recruiter back on staff.

So having achieved beyond all expectations in Tampa, we want him to come back and do the same for us.

Just because he didn’t succeed as head coach doesn’t make him a failure. He was very good at Clemson as Co-OC and wide receivers coach. If I remember correctly we consistently brought in and developed talent at wide receiver under JS. Our receivers played more physical and had a lot better numbers with him as well. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Hoping we find a spot for Scott and that he will come back to CU-we need his recruiting ability in the worst way!

Some folks just aren’t cut out to be a HC.

His father was a great OC for Bobby Bowden. Then became a HC and was horrible at it. Jeff may just be cut out to be a lifer at OC. He was very good when he did it here as well as recruiting.

Our recruiting fell off for the most part when he took the job at USF.

If Dabo doesn’t at least hire him as an analyst, he should be on the hot seat.

Bring him back as a WR coach and recruiting coordinator

I'd much rather have Chad Morris back than any combination of JS & TE

Chad Morris would be a good hire back as well, but I’d much rather have JS and his recruiting and WR coaching.

I think with a more mobile QB we’d be in a lot better shape and probably have better numbers at WR (stats not recruiting).
Hopefully Dabo tells DJ thanks for everything but if you get a mid round grade you need to go pro. If not transfer somewhere you have more of an opportunity.

His opinion as an analysis would be great too.

I'd love to see Jeff back on our staff.
