I didn’t realize he had another year of eligibility left. He’s been in college since 2019. Still, surprised that he wouldn’t stay here. He would’ve been a starter last year. Makes no sense

Maybe a higher bidder arrived at the scene. Who knows. Basketball has been a transactional biz long before football.

He's applying for a medical hardship year, if it's not granted, his college career is done. It's 50/50 so he would not be guaranteed he will be back. He is freeing up a scholarship right now also.

I hope it works out for him.

It would be awesome if they granted it and he was able to stay.

We have been giving up a schollie to walk-on because schollie roster not full. Don't think we are critical on roster schollies for 24-25 yet.

Who's the walk-on on scholarship?***

Last year was the 4yr walk-on given a schollie for SR yr, forget his name. If I remember correctly, Nauseff and Kelley got half schollies this year.

Not sure how that would be possible - I count 13 on

I could be wrong this year but it seems I read that early fall unless that was suggested if we had a miss which I thought we missed a 4* right at end. I know the 4yr walk-on got a schollie last season.

That said, I still don't think we are critical on schollies and Clark would have been a good one to keep, better than most freshman we would get.

Also, has Hemenway said he wanted to come back for 6th yr?

Hemenway has said he wants to but he needs a medical waiver. We almost

certainly wouldn't be replacing Clark or any of the other extra open scholarships with FR at this point. We have our 3 FR. We will be looking for transfers for any open spots.

He doesnt have an extra year - he has to get a waiver

to get one and based on the years he has played and the history of those years, I’d say it is doubtful. Certainly not something we should hold out hope or a scholarship for. Now if for some reason we end up with another spot late and he gets a waiver and hasn’t transferred then sure but not like that happens
