Not only did they have a warrant, which they presented, when the judge was made aware of their presence she helped the suspect hide from them in her jury room which then allegedly resulted in the officers having to chase down the suspect outside. If all of this is basically true it's hard to argue it wouldn't fall within the parameters of obstruction. Of course when you have mayors of large cities telling ICE to #### off while they release child molesters to help them avoid arrest it's easy to forget things like helping illegals hide from arresting ICE agents is an illegal act. This left wing kook FAFO.

But make no mistake, this is very unprecedented. In practice, judges have broad legal immunity for actions taken while performing their judicial duties, even if controversial or wrong.
Normally, if a judge mishandled a situation like this, the system would discipline them through judicial review, censure, or removal proceedings, not a criminal arrest.

Illegal 'lawfare' from the bench by Leftist judges has been standard practice for obstructing Pub administrations for some time.
Nothing to see here......... Move along.

Have you ever seen a judge attempt to hide someone from law enforcement attempting to serve them an arrest warrant? Have you ever seen a judge take a gang members (who is living with them for some reason) phone and beat it to pieces with a hammer to destroy evidence and then dispose of the pieces? If so, please enlighten us about how these scenarios were dealt with? Do you consider these to be examples of "bench conduct " or outright criminality committed by someone who just so happens to be a judge? If a judge murders someone from the bench do you consider that an example of poor "bench conduct" as well? If not, where is the line drawn? Why do weirdo leftist judges keep bending over backwards to keep criminals from being held accountable? Do you have even a hint of inquisitiveness about why that seems to keep happening?

Scenarios have happened in the past, especially the hiring of illegals.
Seems like the NM judge has gone much further
As for the WI Judge, I'm on the fence. Removal from the bench being the minimum, and conviction and jail time for Obstruction of a Federal Investigation being the maximum.

As you're illustrious Democrat leaders love to say "No one is above the law." Coming to a Mayor and Governor near you, soon.
The below fits both the Judges arrested and the Sanctuary City Mayor's and State Governors have heard the law so many times now, there is no way to claim ignorance of the law.
The primary federal law prohibiting assistance to unauthorized aliens is 8 U.S.C. § 1324, also known as the "Bringing in and harboring certain aliens" law. This law makes it a crime to knowingly or intentionally: (1) bring or cause to be brought into the United States any alien, (2) conceal, harbor, or shield from detection any alien, (3) encourage or induce the entry or presence in the United States of any alien.
Two Key aspects of 8 U.S.C. § 1324:
Knowingly or intentionally: The law requires that the person knew or intended to violate the law.
Harboring: This includes providing a place to stay, employment, or other assistance that helps the undocumented alien remain in the country.

One lonely immigrant who is there for his criminal trial and here comes an entire squadron of Feds, agents from the DEA, FBI of the white collar crimes variety, and ICE. Apparently they even had a surveillance team outside the court because their contingent inside the courthouse couldn’t keep track of the guy even though they apparently road down the elevator together.
