I would say your first two points are hyperbole and not lies. He was emphasizing the points that he’s environmentally friendly and not some lunatic green freak like many people Biden caters to. And the economy was pretty darn good under Trump until Covid hit. You like the inflation & interest rates under Biden?

Under Trump, the country was energy independent for the first time ever. That in itself is a huge deal because of all the geopolitical benefits it brought, not even considering the economic benefits. Millions upon millions of unvetted illegals were not pouring across our borders ###### and killing our people. Russia was not invading neighbors, China was not on the verge of taking over Taiwan and the Philippines, which if that happens will lead to their domination of the world. Iran was not causing havoc all over the Middle East. Inflation was about 1%, half of what economists aim for. Interest rates were the lowest of my lifetime, and I’m probably older than a geezer such as yourself. All that with the deep state and brainwashed panty wearing liberals like you opposing his every move.
I don’t care if you think he’s narcissistic, or exaggerates, or sends out mean tweets. Just give me gas prices, grocery bills, interest rates, and security that we had just three years ago and I’ll be happy as a dead pig in the sunshine.

It is really too bad that most people who are Trump or Biden supporters would never have the ability or take the time to read about all the lies and huge exaggerations both self serving politicians made last night. It is a short read, but once a person has joined the red or blue armies, facts are the least of their concerns.
What sort of #### fool would have watched the show last night and then challenged someone/anyone to find 3 lies in the pile of manure Trump threw out?
And what sort of crazed democrat could have watched Biden last night and then showed up today anywhere as a supporter for our current President?
I am hoping the so-called deep state really is pretty deep and pretty competent. The country seems most likely to stay on auto-pilot for quite awhile given the two men who are apparently going to be running for POTUS later this year.

If you support Trump, and I don't mean just voting for him over the lesser of two evils, than you're dumber than an amoeba. The dude is a fraud. I do understand why some would vote for him though over a senile Biden. Lesser of two evils is some people's minds. Trump is a fraud though and an idiot as well as a danger.

Most of what gets called lies in politics are fiugures of speech that an opposenent villifies by calling it a lie and most of what gets called truth is twisted cherry picked thinking meant to decieve...which ends up being lies.
It comes down to how can you tell when a politician is lying to you? His/Her lips are moving.

I care more about this country than I do either one of the two candidates I saw on stage Thursday night. It was really about as a pathetic debate as you can imagine and doing it again in September will be the same thing ........ zero reason to watch.
A little information about each one. I know at least a half dozen people who know Trump well and have worked with him or refused to work with him because of his reputation. One worked for him at Doral and Trump refused to pay him his last $500,000. It eventually went to arbitration and my friend said he got about half of it, maybe a tad more. Another friend refused to take that same job, as Trump's contract said if he stopped paying them, construction had to continue. Another friend played with Trump at the Pebble Beach pro-am and said he was a charming man, to people on the course, but my friend also said he would not work for him because of his reputation for not paying. He is a typical New York businessman who likes to not pay at the end of contracts when construction projects are complete.
Trump is an extreme narcissist whom I believe has no real core values and could have just as easily run as a Democrat as a Republican. I am not sure that he has ever read the constitution or really understands the legislative process. I'm not sure he ever knew what the president could and could not do. Ultimately, I do not think he is all that smart ..... just aggressive and although this sounds contradictory, I think he understands the big picture when it comes to our nations security and economy. He has zero in common with most of the average folks that support him.
Biden on the other hand is not that smart either and is almost always wrong on just about every major issue both foreign and domestic. He does not understand the big picture and his core values, if he has any, seem to flow with the trends of the left wing of the Democrat party. He, like Trump, is also a liar and has been ever since he has been in congress ..... and it continues today. Trump's lies are mostly just pure exaggerations, like we used to use when we were ten years old explaining how big something was or how many widgets we saw. Most, I think are pretty harmless. How many people really care how many people were at his inauguration?
I think I am for a total reset ..... but will have to make a choice ...... and frankly what we have there now is not an option.

Yeah I bought an awesome house and a very low interest rate 3 years ago and I have crushed it with appreciation and in the stock market. My life is good. The store is expensive, but other than that I am doing well. I am not a Biden fan though and don't think he should be president, but Trump is not an option. He is a sick man. Too bad people didn't vote for Nikki Haley. It would have been a much easier option.
