Brownlee was playing chess while Duke was playing checkers. He did his homework and knew exactly what call Duke would go with after coming out of the timeout down by two. He gave the high sign to the floor sweepers to leave a wet spot exactly where Duke would attempt their game-tying shot. He told his players during the timeout to stay away from the wet spot. That's why we won the game.
