Hopefully his Girl friend and his best friends can see through his BS commitments to them before he drops them like a used rubber/condom. People like him will only stand up for them selves, and never behind the ones he claims loyalty to. People that lets them selves get close to him will only be used until the next person comes along that he feels he can get more out of. We all heard him give his profuse praise and love for Clemson to then turn his back on "I have LOVED Clemson my whole life". I'm sure there is a long line of people from his past that can profess to his SALT and VINEGAR character. If you were to put Summer and Nkimdeche in the same barrel and tried to pour them out. They would clog the opening from them both trying to fall out at the same time.

opinion, but I think he used the commit to us to get his recruiting jump started so he could get to the school he really dreamed of going to. Or possibly he saw how many db's signed on last month and didn't think he was up to the task to compete for a spot.

Thanks for this post. It's disappointing to see so many others trashing the kid. He seemed to be very well mannered throughout the whole process and deserving of Clemson's respect.

You are right. I mean the kid did tell how much he loved Clemson. And how he has wanted to play for Clemson his whole life. Hey, his dream school offered and he committed. Now was his story the truth, or was he full of B/S in a Clemson camp trying to get noticed. Here of late if Clemson offers you, many others are going to look at you. Dabo and coaches should stop offering so quick b/c we are doing the scouting for other schools and giving them more time to spend on other recruits.

The idea of a recruiting pipeline to Texas is ludicrous.
Distance and geography matters a lot. We need to dominate recruiting in Carolinas and get a bunch from Georgia and Florida, and we will be fine.

I agree 10 thousand percent. Work our home recruiting ground the way we have done to get us where we are today. Texas and Cali schools have never sent us nothing. They will now to get their kids noticed. Stay with our bread and butter as in SC, NC, Jawja, Virginy, Fla. The others will let us know if they are interested. Just like the kid from Hawaii. He knew about us, he came to visit and he has stayed with us. We should without a doubt keep our nose to the ground in the states that has gotten us to where we are now!!!

I know recruiting is the lifeblood of a program, but once a recruit opts to go elsewhere I wish them well but my attention refocuses on those who chose our great University. They deserve the pics and the headlines.

Can we not simply say: "So and so commits to TAM or Fla, or Auburn, etc.?
What is this "Commits to an SEC School" crap??
When we emphasize the "SEC" part it just feeds Into the hype and our targeted recruits see that!!
The young man committed to a SCHOOL (Texas A&M), NOT a conference.
When our recruits commit to Clemson, they are committing to CLEMSON.....NOT the "ACC".
Okay, okay...I am finished venting. Just getting sick and tired of the whole rediculous SEC BS!!

Just remember. Its much closer to home than Clemson.
If Clemson finishes its business this year and wins a national championship we might get him, or a better player in the 2014 class. Clemson is a great place to play and there is TON of time left between now and signing day. Hell if our defense improves a lot this year it will make recruiting star defensive players cake.

Would have saying Texas A&M to much for you guy's at TN to write. Or is it that the T-Net staff writers are SEC homers also. You promote the sec as much or more than the sec does. SEC appreciates T-net's help in promoting the sec brand on a regular daily basis.
