I canceled Geico a few months ago when they raised our rates 25% for no reason.

Yeah. I’m in the insurance business. Unfortunately, Rates are increasing with every company for both auto and home insurance. It takes longer for them to catch up due to inflation. It’s not stopping either I’m afraid.

Yeah.......ads are just awful. Way too much Parmesan cheese for my taste........and the ad with the grown gal brutalizing the kids on the playground is so bad. Cringeworthy ads!

I worked in IT for the Lizard from 1/08 till 9/22. They used to be a fairly decent company but started going downhill fast in the '20 - '21 timeframe. I had all I could take and left. They've laid off so many people since then and/or have lost a good many people. The problems started when old Warren sent in his hatchet man, Todd Combs, to run the company after Roberts retired in '20. Roberts had taken over after long-term CEO Nicely retired in '19. Combs doesn't have a clue as to what he's doing. Layoffs, rate hikes, and people leaving by the droves started after he took over. When I left, that was the 3rd happiest day of my life (marrying my wife close to 38 years ago being #1, retirement on 4/5/24 #2, and leaving the Lizard and that insanity #3).
