What are your thoughts on this quote from Dabo a few hours before the UGA game? It's disappointing that he came into the game knowing he was likely to lose.

That he needs to rip all the “Best is the Standard” banners off the walls in the football facility and use them to wipe his ###. Because that’s all they’re good for it that’s going to be the mentality going forward. And he needs to go back to getting paid $700,000/year instead of 11.3 million…and lower the prices of football tickets.

He brought up several times before the season and right before the game about the score not mattering. About not letting this game affect the rest of the season. He was 100% prepared for a loss.

So I don’t think you misstated anything. He certainly wasn’t implying that if we beat them by 20 but don’t execute there is a problem. The comment went against the playoff ready hype we heard for 2 weeks. A comment like that was nothing I heard when we played big openers before.

I actually thought the same thing. It was like he admitted defeat before the game started. I heard what I heard and had the same feeling that we were not ready.

the scoreboard going into it...If I had known it was a preseason game earlier, I might have been able to enjoy it for what it was instead of being concerned about the 31 point loss

Unbelievable that a coach of a major college football program, who is paid very well with the expectation that he will win a lot of games, would think something like that - let alone say it.
If Dabo can’t get this turned around, that quote will possibly be the moment he jumped the shark.

Let's not forget this quote from after the Miami loss last year. This one absolutely flabbergasted me. I believe he jumped the shark here.
