Reasons.

1. Just excited to get into the VALLEY because it will be a epic atmosphere for Nancy State. But you gotta wait 2 weeks. 2 long weeks.

2. Hearing the Little Birds carry on about Gameday and their "national championship" caliber team this week. Gag me with a spoon.

3. Knowing we will probably drop again in the polls because we have a bye week. Usually happens to us when we are not playing. Hate it.

4. Knowing we really can't start regaining respect until we beat NC State in a dominating fashion. That really goes for games over the next 6 or 7 weeks. They might start seeing us as a threat if we are sitting at 7-1 or 8-1. I know it is one game at a time but it will be some time before they recognize us-unless we just absolutely torch and stiffle the next 3 or 4 teams.

We still will love the glory of winning among ourselves. There is nothing like celebrating one Tiger victory after another.

I love college football but bye weeks are hard. I just hope our young men use the time to get better and better. Best is the Standard! Go Tigers!!!!

I like the extra week, we get another break later in season.

Prep for Wuffpack and kick their tails. They are 1st on list for payback from last year, more importantly an ACC game and get to a 1-0 start

Get Woods healthy is V I T A L.

That guys is beast level and needed on that Dline

Couldn’t agree more. The hard part was having to sell my parking pass and tix for the game yesterday and watch it from work. That sucked. Now I’ve got to wait 2 WEEKS. The only saving grace next week will be watching the chickens get boat raced Saturday at noon then have the rest of the day to enjoy.

1. Agree...being in Death Valley is so much fun with family and friends.

2. No issues from me with them getting Game Day. Good win for them. They will get their hopes up and then get them dashed...which will be fun.

3. I think our climb in polls will be slow based on no marquee wins in front of us. Only way we advance quickly is if we win blowouts, and it's too early for me to believe all of our offensive issues are magically solved. As/if we keep winning, we will keep inching up in polls.

4. Not sure beating NCSU at home or FSU on road would give us national respect considering where those teams are in the first two weeks of the season.

I love college football too! It's Glorius!

Happens every year...for some reason. Week 3 is a no-man's land of pre conference games and opening non conference games.

You are correct, they probably are interested in LSU returning to Columbia and there will be a ton of yellow and purple in stands. But LSU/Scar is just the best bad option they had for game day this week.

You're not kidding. Zero marquee games. I guess uga/Kentucky was supposed to have a tiny bit of interest based on previous years. But it'll be worse than Tennessee/nc state.

just to catch up on sleep- got home at 2:00 AM. Can’t leave a Tiger game before the very end even with a blow out- won’t be an easy Saturday with Youth Deer Hunt

Sleep is overrated. Just kidding. I can’t leave the game early either but we got home about 12:45.
We have a triple birthday party next Saturday - my daughter and both granddaughters - so the timing of the off week is great. All those birthdays in September caused me to miss the FSU game last year so an early off week is a blessing for me. I don’t have any youths to take hunting Saturday and I will probably skip the Sunday archery opener because there will be so many hunters at our lease property. I will hunt during the week when there won’t be so many people.
