.... Notre Dame and Florida State were good wins (but also at home). I thought Oklahoma was a good team but that now seems very questionable. Either Clemson is truly great and dominated them, Oklahoma played horribly or the Big 12 is overrated as usual (down year for Baylor and TCU due to injuries and there isn't much left to be desired in that conference) and they were never that great. I'm not willing to give much credit to the other teams. Clemson has beat some better teams than Bama has played but also a lot of garbage. Both teams have had very impressive runs with the nod to Clemson. I won't discount the SEC gauntlet though as it is very difficult to win week in and week out.

The SEC went 8-2. I'm not sure the ACC can say the same. I'm all about claiming bowl games do not matter but come on.. And Bama's SOS is ranked #1 on Sagarin

How did they do rivalry weekend, in games that do matter? Pretty sure the ACC is 7-1 the past two years on rivalry weekend. Because the SEC sucks now. hth.

Clemson is the on;y team in the whole Nation to defeat 5 ten win teams. Bama lost to Ole MISS ,who lost to Memphis.LOL

then they are suddenly awful. Everyone said that OU was the strongest team in the nation, until Clemson beat them. Now they might have been terrible. MSU on the other hand had to win two of its games in the last seconds, and really lucked out on both. They really shouldn't have been in the top 4... probably should have been Stanford... but Alabama's win over them was 'Pure Domination', but I digress.
Here both teams are, spot the ball and let them figure it out on the field.

MSU deserved the opportunity to be in the playoff based on what they accomplished. But yeah they were over matched and out of their league. Only idiots bought the ESPN OU hype. They lost to Texas.. come on. They lost that game because their lines got destroyed. Texas didn't let them run on them and they ran all over them. I was right when I figured the same thing would happen to them against Clemson

I particularity enjoyed saban running up the score on auburn in the final minutes of the game. Very impressive win. How long do you think Henry will last in the nfl after being worked like a rented mule ?

Don't bring up Auburn unless you are willing to bring up South Carolina. They were both rivalry games on the road. If there is any running back that can take a beating, it is Henry. He holds the record for most rushing yards in high school for the entire state of Florida. He is just a beast and always wants more carriers. We'll wait and see in the NFL
