or being objective while supporting their team and such.

Caused me to recall what I believe was the most unprofessional hack job I've ever heard - our football game at Miami in 2009.

Dabo's first full season and CJ Spiller's senior year. They didn't really go overboard praising Miami. Rather, they grabbed every opportunity to run our program down. They definitely had no use for Dabo. There was more than one comment about how Clemson fans needed to be hopeful that he could learn SOMETHING about coaching as an on the job trainee. They were even worse talking about CJ. I don't remember exactly how many times (I'm guessing at least 4), after calling his name on a play, one of them would express wonder that chose to waste what COULD HAVE BEEN a great college career at a place like Clemson. I could have sworn he did have a great college career.

That wasn't their exact words but they are very close.

All this while we were on the way to beating their elite powerhouse Hurricane team.

I don't mind it if local announcers root for the home team, but putting down the other guys is downright unprofessional. I'm assuming the announcers were Miami guys? Or were they national broadcasters?

It was the Miami radio broadcast

I was driving back from Atlanta. It was the only place I could find the game.

Definitely local yokels with a great sense of their own importance
