It Brad’s responsibility, but the players aren’t

Playing that well. Clemson is obviously still a good team and 1st in the ACC, but they’ve hit a slump. Playing too sloppy with passing, and most of all not hitting easy shots. They missed 2 layups at the end that would’ve made it a 1 point game, and Chase Hunter missed countless easy floaters.

I believe they’ll get back in form, but I don’t know how long this may last. If this keeps going on, they’re going to fall out of all consideration for the tournament. With the bad losses that already hold us back more than any team in the nation apparently.

Clemson had a good starting Five, but 3 of them got injured (one out for 12 straight games). We did well, winning several more games, even with one of starters out for around 7 games. Then we had 2 out at the same time for 5 games, with us losing the majority of those games. Now all 3 starters are back on the floor, but none of them look fully recovered.

While several of our young, inexperienced bench players have shown potential, they have not had enough talent or experience to step in when we are missing multiple starters from the line-up. And now, even with all 3 injured players back on the floor, none of them look fully recovered. Hopefully, with the team not playing for a full week, we'll be able to get our starters fully recovered and get our team playing winning basketball again.

They face their biggest challenge in the next few weeks. Some of our strongest ACC opponents, several that we have not yet faced this season, remain on our schedule. Furthermore, we face them on the road!

Go Tigers--meet them head on and make us proud! If you can't win the regular season ACC Championship, at least win enough games to return us into the NCAA tournament.
