I heard on the radio the other day that over 50% of the population uses some form of marijuana on a daily basis. It was a very popular morning show so legit.

Just to be sure we all know....outside of medicinal, it is illegal at the federal level. Which supercedes any state "cause we wanna" laws.

I'm not saying it's enforced. Just saying it's still technically illegal everywhere regardless of what states do.
I don't care either way, don't care if people do it and don't care if people get arrested for it. Their life and their risk.

Why don't you care if people get arrested for a victimless "crime"? There's a long history of immoral laws in South Carolina. It used to be illegal to teach slaves to read and write. We'd never make any progress if people just threw their hands up and said "Well, it's illegal. You should have known better." Legalize it already. If you want to ban something, ban tobacco. That stuff actually kills people by the thousands every day, some of whom aren't even smokers.

Just to show my age? In 1962 5 of us were going to the beach and got pulled over in Heath Springs. There was a LID on the back floorboard that had been mostly rolled in JOINTS. Broad daylight so johnny saw it quickly. He says does this belong to one of y'all or should I throw it away? Chunk it the driver says, we didn't even get a speeding ticket.

Marijuana use, even if one has a medical card, voids your 2A rights to own or possess a firearm. ATF Form 4473 has that question on there and if you answer that you do use then Dealer can not allow you to purchase. A lot of people are fully unaware of this. There is a choice to be made in states where it`s legal.
