for some of us to come clean about the occasions (multiple) of running down the hill? I have been plagued by guilt over the past 24 hours and hoping for me, and others in similar situations, we can be forgiven and permitted to remain Tiger fans. I'll go ahead and start;
First occasion, as a child, I attended a summer camp at Clemson. One day they took us to the stadium and we all ran down the hill. To make matters worse, blasphemy of all blasphemy, we ran up the hill too and ran back down again. (I feel so bad).
Secondly, as a student, we had a chance to be on the field a few days before Tigerama and after setting up part of the staging, I did it again. I ran down the hill.
Third, when my kids were old enough to start going to games, we would "storm the field" afterwards for the meeting at the PAW. After meeting as many players as we could, they wanted to go up on the hill and , I did it again. I ran down the hill with the kids. (I know, I know...I am a bad person).
Lastly, I interviewed Tommy Bowden once for a video we played at a youth sports banquet. After we interviewed him and had what we needed for the video, we walked over to the stadium and it happened AGAIN...I ran down the hill.
I realize some of you will never forgive me but I do feel better about getting that off my chest. It's been hard since I discovered the ills of my ways yesterday.

I have run down The Hill on multiple occasions. Back in the day when you could go into the stadium and run steps, I celebrated each finish with a trip down the hill.
I also have some good memories about The Tiger Paw. But if I tell them, the future will be altered.

I too am a fellow hill runner and sadly I rubbed the rock before doing so!!! I know I am a disgrace to Tiger Nation!!!

Thanks for your honesty Lebo. With the hysteria re running the hill, thing the rock remained covered, I completely missed the need to confess to that transgression. I too have rubbed the rock. I feel ashamed
