Is the D front-7 conditioning any better?

We had dudes on the D front-7 in 2015-2019 that could bring it every play for 60 minutes without taking plays off.
It's obviously been a problem recently and we heard all summer how it was going to be better. Was it really any better Saturday? Granted, the offense didn't help with time of possession. But it was also not hot for August.
Are coaches scared to have them run wind sprints until they puke these days? Is that another downside of coaches being your buddy these days?

i.e. coaches hesitant to work players too hard so they won't transfer.

DL: Peter Woods 58, T.J. Parker 54, Will Heldt 45, Stephiylan Green 38, Jahiem Lawson 31, DeMonte Capehart 27, Cade Denhoff 23, Vic Burley 19, Amare Adams 4, Champ Thompson 2, Hevin Brown-Shuler NS, Darien Mayo NS, Markus Dixon NS, Zaire Patterson NS, Caden Story NS.
I don't know that our dudes looked particularly tired, but 58 snaps is not that much for a starter. Looks like there was a good bit of rotation at the other DL position. It also wasn't hot.
All that to say, none of them should have been that tired.

He’s retiring at the end of the 2025 season.

Yes. It is a long season and there is absolutely no reason to wear our guys out

with a long season and, hopefully, a long post season. Woods, Capehart and Burley all look much thinner.

17 points given up despite being on the field for almost 40 minutes? Yeah, I'd say they are holding up fine, given it's the first game of the season. I was worried the last two times LSU had the ball and the defense did their job to give us a chance. Can't ask for more than that in crunch time.

Terrible take; We ran like 10 deep with NFL talent on the DL those years

Our players absolutely did NOT play 60 minutes without being subbed out. The portal is gonna make it hard to be that deep because top flight talent aint gonna sit the bench when they can get paid to play elsewhere. There's absolutely no evidence that Hobby or Eason are being soft on the guys in practice. AND you can be dayum sure Allen aint letting anyone slide.
