Yes Failure State just lost a former 5* LB which never feels good, I don't care how well you recruit, and on offense the crab leg bandit has moved on to a new Publix.
HOWEVER looking at FSU's latest Offensive depth chart they have exactly ONE SENIOR on their entire THREE DEEP and that is QB Everett Golson. A few months ago Tommy Bowden said that Clemson needs to beat FSU this year because it will only get harder from here and I'm starting to see his reasoning.
I still think we can hang with them, especially with Deshaun "What Son?" Watson and how our recruiting has been but the offense the lady punchers bring to the valley this year will return most of those names in '16 and '17 too.
Fortunately as long as they don't bring in another franchise QB(which they don't have this year)I think we will be in good shape. Go Tigers!

I hear ya. Unfortunately Roberto Aguayo is still at FSU. He's listed as a rs/junior. That guy averaged 9.7 points per game last year. Yeah, I'd love to see him gone, he hit a 53 yarder last year and in 2013.

Welp... FSU will have some talent for a few years to come but we ain't playing with chopped liver. Look at the Clemson scholarship charts: http://www.tigernet.com/view/scholarships/football.do
We have a total of 83 scholarship players for 2015 - only 10 are seniors this year. The Freshman, RS Freshmen, and Sophomores make up 55 of those 83 scholarship players. If all 2015 Juniors return for their senior year in 2016 we will have 73 out of our 83 scholarship players returning. As good as I think we will be this year, I think we will be world beaters in 2016. FSU doesn't worry me in the least - Dabo and crew have closed the talent gap and we are capable of beating any team in the nation for the next several years.

I was not aware of the numbers, but I have thought since the end of recruiting year before last that would our recruiting continue to do well our team for 16 would be filled with talent and experience. I've seen nothing which would cause me to change my mind, but our performance in the bowl game did renew my confidence.

only one of which has significant starting experience though. We also just got finished bringing in the best O-line recruiting class in the nation.
We do also have one WR - Charone Peake - who is a senior (GR) this year. But while Peake is a great talent and we expect a break-out season this year, the WR corps is deeper than ever with two 1000 yard receivers starting opposite Peake this year, two 5-star Fla recruits coming in, 4-star talents like Trevion Thompson and Germane Hopper fighting to get looks, and a star-studded recruiting class in the offing agin this year.
I won't even mention what we're doing at RB and QB, but I will tell you we have a FSU-legacy 4-star coming in at TE this year who by all accounts is the real deal.
So please tell me again why we would be concerned with FSU's recruiting....
