Florida may not be a good team again this year, but they were beaten easily by Miami in the Swamp.
I like the QB for Miami, Ward I think it is. He is mobile, has great arm, looked good. But, Florida defense is suspect, so maybe he looked better because of that.
Either way, Miami looked the best IMO. BC also looked really solid.

NO, not proven yet. They beat a very poorly coached team in Florida. With all that talent that the Gators have, their HC (Napier) is doing a horrendous job. I always felt the Gator faithful made a bad decision in hiring him from Louisiana. Miami hasn't done anything yet. Let's see how the next 11 games go.

Based off what we have seen so far Miami is by far and away the best team in the ACC. Cam Ward is the real deal. They also have a favorable schedule. I would not be surprised to see them go into the ACC Championship game undefeated.
Looks like the only thing that can stop them is themselves, which they tend to do sometimes.

Cam Ward looked like a man among boys in that game. Very calm, patient, with impressive accuracy and decision-making. It almost seemed like he was in slow motion compared to everyone else - then boom. He can take them far this season.

You don't have a clue...had you watched Arkansas and Okie St yesterday you would have seen 2 teams a step or so behind Colorado...nobody deserved to win...poor execution. Poor spotrsmanship..bad coaching , no clock management! No NIL money from those two...OSU QB throws great pass to the 4 yd line (may win the game) then taunts the Ark coaches and sideline all the way down the field..gets 15 yard USL conduct and almost loses game! Worst 2 teams ever...not even HS character!

It's been a long time since GT, Miami, and BC were near the top of the little ACC hill. Not sure GT and BC will stay there very long this year, but good for them while it lasts. They seem to have landed on some good coaches who can turn them into respectable programs

Miami, at this time, is legit. Very big and athletic on both LOS.
Playcalling was great, they know how to use Cam and their TE. Cam had all day to throw and he eaily gets out of trouble and has a great arm. Team speed at skill is also very good.
Miami shouldve been up more than they were at half. Game was never really in question. Yep, UF is very average, but Miami is quite good. IMO, they are a legit Top 10 (maybe 8-10) atm......

Florida might be down, but it still is not slouch. Miami made it look easy...effortless. This is what kills me about what our offense. We make screen passes and running from scrimmage look to be excrutiatingly difficult. We make throwing down filed look impossbile. Every thow of 10 yard comes off like a Hail Mary.
So it's not joke that Miami is easily to the top contender right now. I would put GT right behind them. No idea where we land. after watching this last game I don't think anyone else knows where Clemson stands in terms of outlook. App State could potentially beat us out right. who knows?

completely agree... if Clemson is not prepared to play a better game and produce some offense, then App State absolutely will give our Tigers a big problem.
I do not want to lose at home to App, they have a propensity to pull this kind of upset every so often.

OFFENSE is Clemson's main problem. If Dabo doesn't take of this, the lack of points per game, make adjustments with woeful OC Riley and take the playbook from him, App State will win.

They were the preseason pick of many and have done nothing to prove otherwise. Clemson and FSU were also picked. FSU could run the table and not make the championship game. Clemson has work to do.
Many of the College Football Analysts still think Miami and Clemson will play in Charlotte.
