It seems like the snaps were all over with Norton in. Maybe he's a mutch better blocker, but if your playing out of the gun snaps have to be on the spot. Today could have been bad.

No, it's not just you.

Norton was inexcuseably bad today...again. As a grad student, he still can't get the snap count right and he managed to almost gift App State a key TD - again - by flipping the ball over Watson's head.

I personally do not care if we ever see Norton again. Stuff like that you expect from a freshman starter; that he's doing that kind of stuff as a grad student is...head-shaking. He was The Weakest Link in a good many games last year and he's right back at it again this year. He also got his tail kicked repeatedly by App State on several running plays...it's not a coincidence that the run game suddenly got going when Norton left the game.

I can live with Norton as a backup and a mop-up duty guy; he does not belong on the field as a starter, period, and I've thought that his entire career. With at least two better options around him, you would think this would be the last straw and he'll probably make way for Guillermo.
