Wouldn't it be amazing if we were the 1st and 2nd team to reach a 15-0 back to back season. But if we did, I still don't believe that we would get the same respect that an SEC that done the same would get!!!

After TL goes off on the first two opponents, the media will be in love with the golden locks and we'll be the front-runner for everything the rest of the season. Sets us up nicely for another 12-0 reg season run.

Well, we will know early won't we. At least we get two cupcakes before the FSU game.
Side note: I forgot that Wake/Carolina are doing that "non-conference" thing. Can we start doing that and replace Charlotte with Chapel Hill and Wofford with Virginia or will that hurt our SOS

This might be the most awkward schedule I've ever seen. Home opener on a THURSDAY? What? Two bye weeks? What? Wofford in the middle of conference play? What?
All this being said, I'll see y"all in New Orleans in January.

Cuse fan here
Expect a Primetime game with us along with ESPN Gameday for Sept 14th.
And oh it is going to be soooooooooooo hot and loud in Dome. (Gotta throw some red meat at you guys LOL)
If you haven't made a trip to Cuse yet...mid September is gorgeous time...but a tad too early for the leaves turning yet.

Looking at this schedule, I don't see one team that can honestly come even close to beating us. A&M will Jimbo to a loss. Coots....no way!!! Not crazy about us scheduling Charlotte and/or Wofford. I understand you have to have a little break but we've known for umpteen thousand years that these teams can't hang with us. We are riding high for a while!!!

Stating the obvious..... the goal every year is to have seven home games. With USUC and Power 5 home and home every yesr, this is how it must be to avoid reciprocation and have the seven home games.

No to giving up games at home. Dabo has said the home games are too important to the economy of the town of Clemson to give up any.

So it looks as if we will have a couple of days advantage on getting ready for A&M, and I'ma wondering how that could have happen with knowing the the SEC surly don't want any out of conference team to have any kind of an advantage over one of their teams and risk losing to a lowly ACC team for the 2nd straight year!!!

12-0 regular season is highly likely. But we knew that. Let's go for 6 in a row against SCAR. 5 ACC Champs in row, 5 straight CFP appearances, and two straight Nattys. Go Tigers!

Road Gms - New Coaches/QB's. Except Doreen.Chump

|
|
I don't know much about UNC personnel but Fedora was a heck of a recruiter! Mack Brown had the entire state of Texas at his disposal for a long time and did what with it in the Big 12. They had Vince Young that one year and beat a good So Cal team; outside of that. But, Texas is supposed to be the (as a fan and person who has seen h.s. football in 7 other states I disagree whole heartedly) the best H.S. football in the country. Texas A & M hadn't gone to the SEC yet and they had their own network. If he was really good one would think they would have kept the ship rolling and rolling w/o much resistance. But his last few years; w/o the VY lightning in the bottle; they struggled badly! Or badly comparative to their talent level. In the Big 12.
Louisville - will Satterfield bring the Mountaineer magic to Loserville? Not this season I don't think! They will be tougher; but not ready for what we will bring. But, you never can say b/c like FSU they have "raw talent" at least to work with. Syracuse will be w/o Dungey up in the dome! I think they take a step back b/c that kid is a gamer! If they can find another kid with the same poise, moxy, intelligence, savy and toughness they may still be good. But, Dino has some holes to fill. We are playing some teams with big unknowns which means "you never know"! Our unknowns are not as drastic and should be seamless! Go Tigers!

You know TAM and at Syracuse should be pretty tough, but GaTech may be tougher than expected, because of the unknown of GT and us having a lot of new starters on defense.
