of the size has to do with recruiting. Also that for it to be used in recruiting, it had to be within four miles of the campus (per NCAA rules). Do not know if this is true, but, if so, that rules out Muschamp using his house.
Just curious.

Yes, the living space includes a rec room that takes up the entire downstairs, and because it has A/C it is considered living space. There were also plans for a 3-car garage, but that was turned into a gym and basketball court.
Dabo has said that he wants this to be the house of the Clemson head coach for years to come. He is building it for Clemson, and when he leaves he thinks the next head coach would want it.

David are you sure Coach Swinney is actual paying for the house? I talked to the person who installed the HVAC system (10 heat pumps) and its his understanding that IPTAY will own the house. He also told me the sole purpose of house was recruiting and that over 1/2 the space was set aside for that purpose.

1200 amp electrical service w/six or seven 200 amp panels. But people talk and exaggerate about these things, I know, but it is ridiculously huge any way you look at it.
