I'm shocked!
IPTAY donations are due by tomorrow. I go to my account and fill out all the information, type in my donation amount, check the type of payment (card that I have used there forever ....and use all the time). When I hit "Pay xxxx", I get a message "Invalid Payment Data". They are usually pretty competent when taking your money, but I guess they don't even worry about that anymore. I could call over there, but I really just don't want to!

I'll try it later tonight. I'm also going to get gas and some other things so will try it there to make sure there is nothing wrong with the card. Of course putting information into the computer is different from scanning or tapping the card at the gas station.

Check the expiration date on your card. I received a new card and the new expiration date was later than the one saved causing my payment to fail. Once I edited my saved payment method, all was good.

I went back and re-installed my card, although all of the information they had on file was correct. I could use another card, but I'm just being stubborn because this is my card I use for that type of thing and I have just used it earlier today ...... no problem.
PS: Just trashed the old information and re-entered the information ..... same error message. It has to be their site ..... don't know why.

I had same problem. IPTAY staff had to delete it on their end and then I could re-enter and proceed. Call in. I resisted for a week but not solved until I did

Section S ...... sit behind a dude that likes to stand up the entire game. As of right now, you may be welcome to my seats ..... and my IPTAY membership (which I would renew anyway even if I did not buy tickets). In recent years I have either been selling or giving my tickets to students who can't get them, so maybe it is a good year to say "no more".
PS: Smitty .... your seats are probably much better than mine so maybe we can switch. And yes I am being stubborn because the time I have wasted and crap I have put up with IPTAY over the years is enough to #### off Mother Teresa.

I could easily do that, but the card I use is specifically for certain things and when tax time comes around I have all like charges on the same card and same year end summary. Why can't they go to the trouble to make sure their software works rather than me. They are the ones getting the money!

I went ahead and called and the guy on the line said "you aren't the first one that has had to call" ...... guessing I'm far from the first. Anyway, the same card they have on file went right through when he ran it, so it wasn't the card or anything I did. Just another of the many bumps in the road with IPTAY. Some day when I have time and you want to read a long story, I have a great one about a friend who bought the "lifetime" package and how over the next 20 years tried to walk back just about every benefit he had received.

One of the stories involved him getting a call from Bert Henderson (great guy) to come over and talk to him about his benefit package, a number of years afterward of when he had bought in. He sat down at the table with a group of IPTAY folks and they told him that they wanted two of his prime parking spots back as they were not part of the original deal. He said "yes they were and I'm not giving them up". Bert said, "I'm, sorry, but who told you that they were"? My friend said "you did" and reached into his pocket and pulled out a letter that was part of the agreement. He handed the letter to Bert and said, "Bert, who signed that letter". He said Bert's face turned red and said "I did" ......... case closed"!
