Good article and glad to hear people are hopeful about the future state of revenue sharing.

When the Greenville News had Dan Foster, Clemson was much in the headlines of the sports page along with Furman. He was the best.He passed away in 2009 and will always be the best along with sports Icon play by play man for Clemson ...Jim Phillips, a Legend.

Interesting article. Assume CD Davies will transition to something else later. He and Dwight Clark's dad worked at First Union Mortgage in the late 80s and mid 90s when I did some audit work in that segment, mostly in Raleigh.

Fair market value will reign it in to a large extent and revenue sharing

is equivalent for all. We’re going to allocate nearly 100% to football. So that combined with applying fair market value to players and NIL, and this Wild West nonsense will start to get under control.

It is also seldom that the Post and Courier writes anything positive about Clemson. Their Sports Editor is all about Cootville and the SEC. Remember, many of their so called journalists are coot graduates.

No. There are some semantics involved.

Each school can allocate up to $22M of their budget to share with athletes, but they don’t have to. So a smaller school might take $13-15M of that for athletes and keep the rest in the budget for operations.
When Dabo says 100%, he means that Clemson is taking the maximum amount, $22M, out of our budget to share with athletes.
From there it’s predicted that about 75% of that $22M will go to football players and the rest divvied up among other sports.

It the conflict with the House settlement and the pro NIL injunction in the Tennessee/Virginia vs NCAA case gets kicked up to a higher court.
The nonsense is the handwriting and faux virtue signalling about it.

You're right, but what's your point? Are you suggesting Clemson should sit by idle and do nothing? I think that kind of reactive attitude is Clemson Athletics' biggest threat in the future (and one specifically called out here by the pioneer of our NIL program).
