Just a question. Have we stopped recruiting IMG? I know we have Swanson from there and Xavier Thomas.
I was watching the Syracuse game and remembered how we were recruiting their linebacker, Mikel Jones. Not a bad player, not saying he is better than what we have. I cannot remember who burned us from there? Do you think it is because it is more of a professional school? So many of these kids are looking for that NIL money now? Just wanted some thoughts. I cannot remember the player who burned us from there, so thanks in advance.

Pretty successful there until one person flipped and it seemed like some others. Was it after Venables left?? Seems like it’s been cold since then. I trust Dabo and feel like he has his reasons but I don’t remember which player it was.

Took a minute, but you are right. It was three of them. They were Jihaad Campbell, Daylen Everette, and Keon Sabb.

Just in reading different things one might think the relationship with our coaches and their folks may have soured.
It could be nothing but thought it odd that 3 commitments from one school would all de-commit.
Just feels like it was a bigger issue but this is just speculation on my part. Seeing we do not seem to be getting anyone from there things seem to be off.
Anyone know if we have offered any one from there since they de-committed?

it was and there was some sort of hushed 'scandel' suspected...maybe some IMH coach getting some kickback to have the kids decommit? I don't recall but it was 3 or 4 years ago.

maybe it's me but has anyone panned out from IMG besides XT (and he hasn't lit the world on fire either)
Shaq Smith, didn't do that well.. Mike Jones Jr, good but not great. Capehart hasn't shown anything as of yet.
