Tyler Brown is listed as Day-to-Day(Dabo's version).
Luckily, we haven't had to have T. Brown or Wesco, but just imagine both of their ability to "get separation"!
On some plays - the DC will have the right defense called. That's when you have to have "difference makers who can win even when the defense is perfect for the play call"!
A healthy Adam Randall for those big boy passes on the outside( get off me dude ). A healthy Tyler Brown for quick explosive 5 yard crossing routes - y.a.c into 15 yards. A healthy Wesco to take the top off the defense. Him and Turner both running verticals and scaring the absolute Hades out of the DC. Even if you don't throw it - they see that you have two who could beat your coverage - which ultimately changes your alignments and calls. A healthy Stallato - to get the tough catches.
To me; CFB still hasn't seen the full Clemson offensive capability yet.
The OL is not going to regress under Matt Luke - they will only get better. A lot of the stuff he has been teaching around this time of year will start to get to where they don't have to think about it anymore. It will become 2nd nature - and when that happens - we take a huge step in becoming the offense we think we can be.
Cade has to keep getting better; all I have seen from him in interviews and in interviews from his teammates point to him taking ownership of it all. Working toward improvement and addressing his weaknesses. Coaches like Narduzi or K. Smart will make you beat them with "your weaknesses"!
Garrett riley and Kyle Richardson - continue to innovate. They have done a fantastic job so far. I've been around Coach Richardson and can tell you "he ain't satisfied until they dang near scoring a TD on every drive"!
Go Tigers!

Will be a lot of fun. Hopefully everyone gets healthy, chemistry develops, and 40+ points with 500+ yards becomes the standard again. Already trending in that direction!

One of the tactics Art Briles used was using the fact most teams don't have enough quality depth to keep fresh DB's on the field to defend "WR's who have had a play or two off". The DB would have had to do a lot of running. And, then he puts in another really fast WR to go against a winded DB.
Even if you don't get the ball thrown your way; make that DB work. Before long their technique starts to break down and they suddenly aren't there for run fits or screens become more effective b/c "they tired"!
Being deep at WR with quality speed could pay huge dividends for us!

Excellent point. Could you imagine getting bodied by AR8 for multiple plays, dealing with Mafah, and then *boom* Wesco is in the game with fresh legs running a go route? Yikes.

Brown has only played in four games, I believe. If he doesn't respond quickly to surgery, it might be best to redshirt him.

Good point.
I think; they bring him back if the thought is his availability makes the offense more dangerous. If we had more losses; I think they would save his eligibility.
His vertical speed in the slot versus a nickel or safety in most cases would be a huge advantage for Clemson.

Anytime you have an offense that averages close to 40 points per game, your'e fine. I'm going to sound redundant again by reminding all of the Clemson fans of our terrible defense. Wes Goodwin should'nt be running a POWER 5 defense. The NC State, Wake Forest and Virginia games exposed his weaknesses as a play caller. No containment from the outside Linebackers, No coverage fron the free safety in deep pass situations, especially on 3rd and longs, No blitz packages to speak of, and the players seem to be confused at his leadership.NO pass rush. Any QB against the Tigers have enough time in the pocket to have a picnic back there. Virginia is not a good team folks, and they scored 31 points. The Cavaliers will probably end up 5-7 on the season. This defense has got to improve against the likes of a Cam Ward at Miami, or it could be a nightmare in the ACC Championship game. I fear that Goodwin's shortcomings as a Defensive Coordinator is being overlooked because of the Offensive teams' success. Iam certain that he needs to be let go after this season. It's not the players, people. There is more than enough talent on defense be a strong group. Bad coaches waste talent, and good coaches get the most out of what they have. This man is NOT a good defensive coach. He will eventually be let go in time, because of his giving up too many points, and he's too easy to adjust to, as Georgia did in the opener. just giving a warning to watch this guy carefully. I know when a guy can coach, and I know when one can't. He can't.

What's interesting is, Clemson has given up yards and points "in garbage time"! Just looking at how young players have played doesn't cut it. There is a reason Coach Goodwin has been approached each season about other job opportunities since he has come back to Clemson.
B. Venables desperately wanted him to go with him. Nobody would want a person "who can't coach that badly"!
The circumstantial evidence suggest that Coach Goodwin can indeed Coach. And, furthermore proves, you may not know what you are talking about( from a whole-list-ick point of view).
