He hesitates on deep balls and doesn’t have the arm strength to make up for being late. He’ll work it out as the season continues.

They are not open.

Their DBs are gambling by not respecting our deep ball offense. Their LBs can drop into coverage because our OL and TE cannot beat their DL.

I bet Stanford has already figured out that Clemson doesn’t have a true deep ball threat offense.

To have that aspect as a true threat, there simply cannot be a steady diet of underthrown balls.

We need to run the ball eff3ctively so that mid-range routes can get open.
