CBS coverage was ridiculous. He hits a fairway its the greatest golf shot ever. They were just over the top goofy today. Very unprofessional

Obviously you haven’t watched much golf the last few years, golf has been doing very well and at an all time high popularity wise without Tiger Woods

CBS coverage was ridiculous. He hits a fairway its the greatest golf shot ever. They were just over the top goofy today. Very unprofessional they want to be the ones to dispute theTiger naysayers, those who maintain that “Tiger’s done, he’ll never win another tourney, much less a major”
If the man had any integrity though, only God knows what he could accomplish.
Btw, does anyone know if he has a charitable foundation through which he might give back to the community?

Ranting and raving about his practice swings.
What?
“He looks very confident and loose. I like his form.”
Then he approaches the ball and hits it 20 yards in the rough.
Oh, how majestic!!!

After his birdie on 16 to get within one of the leader they showed his score card and the commentator briefly comment that that was the "best front nine I have ever seen". Really? Three under with a bogey and zero fairways hit is the best front nine he has ever see. I just do not understand this infatuation with a womanizing, ego maniac who abuses his prescription medications. He is such a role model!

Or are you blaming Tiger for not standing up for Fuzzy??
why would Tiger stand up for a guy that had said similar and worse things to and about him in the privacy of the clubhouse? the problem was that fuzzy was so comfortable being himself that he forgot to put a muzzle on for the camera... Tiger knew that was "fuzzy being fuzzy" but fuzzy said publicly for all of the world to see "fuzzy being fuzzy", and that's nobody's fault but fuzzy's...

His front nine was amazing because he hit zero fairways and scored as he did, you gotta listen to the whole quote not just part of it. For the round he shot a 64 and the guy said put the ball where he did and most would have shot a 74. No athlete should be a role model, plus they never asked to be one. Tiger will win another major or three and if he gets that driver figured out it will be April 2019 at the Masters. From being unsure he would ever play again last November to how well he is playing is a testament to his ability. He made golf a must watch early in his career and you are foolish if you deny his ratings on TV or the rise in prize money. Oh, for all the talk of players not fearing Tiger their actions say otherwise, soon they will be dealing with the total Tiger and they are not looking forward to it coming.

Hypocrisy is ridiculous at times here. Hate never dissipates...just heap it on. Tiger's never done any good. He's lived a life in the spotlight and proved he's every bit the sinner all of us supposedly are and yet...he gets zero forgiveness. No credit for bringing attention and money to a game that none of the other participants can deliver. He tolerates the mind-numbing stupid questions day after day, week after week, and year after year. Yes, he stumbled, he tripped, he fell on this ### face for the whole world to see. He couldn't run from it. And, yet, he's returned to the game...and CONTINUES to receive no semblance of the 'forgiveness' so many are told to practice each and ever Sunday. So, I ask, just who are many of you listening to...or are you napping in the pew?
Ran concluded.

I don't hate Tiger Woods at all, he gets big respect from me

what he has accomplished in his career is amazing.
What I cannot stand is how the broadcast gets ruined when he is playing and anywhere close to being in contention. It's like all the other players are an irritating sideshow.
I have played and enjoyed watching golf my entire life, way before Tiger was on the scene. I am interested in seeing ALL the talent, and seeing the thrill and emotion of competition. The media OBSESSES on Tiger's play. They showed all his good shots 4-5 times over. "Watch Tiger walk to the teebox! Watch Tiger take a practice swing! Watch Tiger in super-slo-mo! Watch Tiger take a drink of water! Watch Tiger change his shirt! Let's show that 4 footer again, Verne! Meanwhile the leader just birdied and we'll show you that after we watch Tiger hit his next drive and when we get back from commercial."
That's why I don't want him near the leaderboard on the weekends. I love it when he tees off at 9am and is finishing up about the time the leaders tee off. That way, you actually get to see GOLF, not all of Tiger's shots a dozen times with a few other scattered shots of the actual leaders.
It's not his fault, it's the smarmy networks.
