Hold your attacking for one second and hear me out
I believe guys like Bryant Wesco, Tyler Brown, Peter Woods, etc. should be sat unless we are in need of them during a game.
I’m all for letting them dress and be on the depth chart.
And I understand getting them into a rhythm is very important.
But I believe going into the ACC Championship with little to no film for Wesco alone is big.
I’m sorry I just think it’s a disadvantage to use Bryant Wesco to his full abilities before the playoff.
Of course like I said, this is assuming we don’t win comfortably in every game remaining.
Also, it prevents them from reinjuring and being out for season. In which we wouldn’t have Wesco against teams we need him for.
Yeah these players make that big of an impact.
EDIT: Additionally, to those who think we will need him to get there. I really don’t think so. I honestly see us winning the same way we have been until the playoff as a 3 or 4 seed.
I’m serious. I see us continuing to win comfortably.
I think using him like y’all are saying in even a 10-point lead in a game is superfluous. We have so many other options at receiver.
Y’all wait until we have to play Georgia again. You’ll see.

Nuances of the game are important to experience live, especially timing on routes/throws, blocking, in game adjustments. Playing on the road in particular in a hostile environment and having to go off signals rather than sounds is important. No better place to experience that than Va Tech.
However, once he torches them for 150 yards and 3 TD’s, sit his butt on the bench.

Louisville & Pitt are going to give us all we can handle and more
USC’s defense and mobile qb are going to be a big problem if we don’t bring our A game in all 3 phases.

How on gods green earth do you think it would be a good idea to sit some of our best players until December?
They would be rusty and out of sync with their teammates before playing our toughest competition of the season (sans week 1 of course).

I guess I am old school but if you are healthy play the game! They are not playing for you! These guys actually like to play Football and be on the field every play ! It is a Game and very very few people are Blessed enough to be able to play at the Collegiate level! Play every single game and every single play!
