I’ll say it. I don’t think we should criticize Dabo

1) no one has done more for Clemson than Dabo. Except maybe Thomas G Clemson. 2) we do not have all of the information. One small piece of information that you don’t know can change everything. 3) most of the time Dabo is right. 4) no one wants to win or has more of a vested interest in winning than Dabo. 5) it’s a bad look for so called Clemson fans to be calling the coach that has won 2 national championships and 7 conference championships a liar (way out of line) 6) it gives the talking heads ammo against the Clemson program. 7) It comes off as spoiled.
Just a few reasons.

All somewhat true.
But, our rivals are laughing because our coaches were hiding another 5-star QB on the sidelines -- while our starting QB was floundering (and he likely wanted to get off the field).
Recruits will widely know that Dabo and Streeter were stubbornly resistant to making what appeared to be an obvious change. (The replacement could not have been worse than DJU5 on that day vs USuC: 8 for 29 attempts for 99 yards; 59 of those 99 yards came on one pass play.)
When other good recruits learn of their stubborn resistance to make a needed change, those recruits will re-consider whether they would be put into Cade Klubnik's situation. Know that all competing coaches for those recruits will harp on the stubborn and poor decision making by Dabo and Streeter in this situation.

See point #2. I believe Dabo would do everything in his power to win.

to suggest Dabo would EVER sacrifice a game.
Cade is exactly like most true freshmen. They need time to get acclimated and develop.
I can't figure out how some folks are confused by this.

and are far more likely to be tuned into team concepts and dynamics, and coachable, than to be put off by something like that. They probably view it all very differently.

Well he is the best thing that has happened to Clemson and will be great moving forward, but leaving DJ in so long this season was a complete screw up and he should be criticized. It doesn't change what he has done, what he will do moving forward, or doesn't mean some of us who are disappointed in how he handled the qb situation don't love him as our coach nor appreciate all he has done. He should be deeply criticized for this decision with QB all season. He blew it.

The last game of the regular season.
Why would he have been replaced?
Cade wasn't ready. He grew and developed as the season went along.

He should have been in a few games ago. DJ sucked. A few games ago would have had us in the playoff.

I guess I should clarify. I’m upset too. Especially about losing to SC. That game should never have been lost. However, questioning Dabo’s character and saying he’s a liar without all the information that he has is WAY too far. I’ve seen too much of that on here over the last 24 hours.

Did anyone watch post game at all. Dabo stood at midfield and bragged on DJ with Cade there then did same at trophy presentation then again on the Huddle Show then with the two at the presser same again. He did more talking up DJ than commending the only guy who could help him and the team win. Dabo may be smart but this instance he showed ignorance or arrogance imho. You guys see what you want but I think he done the kid dirty.

Yeah. It’s much more productive to be mad about winning championships. Apparently, you didn’t follow Clemson Football in the 80s and 90s.

3/4 of these idiots have no idea what it was like. The last ten years has been like being delivered to the promised land. Honestly, I just wish they would shut up, they're killing my just-won-a-championship buzz.
