Run down the hill as a big group!!! This single line thing takes way to long and frankly is just not as intimidating. Go watch some video from running down hill in Ford and other years. Much, much better.

In my time it was all games.
My favorite tradition to bring back the balloon release. In the past I've helped get the newly hatched turtles safely into the water. I have probably saved more turtles than Clemson balloons have killed.

Not a chance. More like 10%, 15% tops. The problem is that's enough for it to sound stadium-wide. You can tell when the C starts on the spelling out - that's most of us, and it's thunderous.

Absolutely!!! His biography is a great read. His memory of Charlie Pell leaving is interesting. I met him at a friend's Christmas party. He and Bob Fulton were making the rounds of parties hosted by Tigers and coots. I heard they did this often.

In late 70's I remember being so thankful if a game was on TV. WE would turn the sound down on the tv and listen to Jim Phillips on the radio.

Leaving the house at Noon for a 1:00 o'clock kickoff, parking at Fike, scrambling to get the little plastic footballs with the opponent's colors, wearing my YMCA termite football jersey even though it wasn't orange, being thrilled when there were 35-40,00 people in attendance and winning or losing didn't dictate how the how the next week was going to go. Much simpler times.
